FINE & RAW founder Daniel Sklaar began making small-batch chocolate in a Williamsburg artist loft in 2007, initially sharing it with friends and eventually delivering orders to local shops. By 2012, the company moved to a Bushwick factory-café, attracting artists and tourists alike. A true bean-to-bar operation, FINE & RAW uses organic, sustainably sourced beans to craft dairy-free chocolate with unrefined coconut sugar for rich, caramel-like flavors. With a focus on community, the company collaborates with local artists and photographers and works with cacao farmers worldwide to create exceptional chocolate.
