RACHEL COMEY

Rachel Comey is an American independent fashion designer based in New York City. Prompted by seasonality, Comey’s design process is strategic. With each collection, a conversational approach to design provokes an insightful response to what it means to think and wear RC clothing. A few years after graduating from the University of Vermont, Comey launched her eponymous collection of menswear inspired by the young music scene in New York in 2001. After gaining a loyal following, Comey started designing womenswear and has been doing so ever since.
